The American Recovery & Reinvestment Act

  • Provides a consumer tax credit of 30% up to $1,500, of the cost of a remodeling project that improves the energy efficiency of an existing home. Our windows qualify.
  • Applies to products "placed in service" from January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2010.
  • Only windows with a U-Value of 0.30 or lower and solar heat gain coefficient of at least 0.30 or lower to qualify.
  • Products must be for taxpayer's principle residence.
